Police seize about $39,000 worth of suspected narcotics, as well as loaded handgun
A Niagara Falls drug investigation has led to charges against two people.
Earlier today, police searched a home near River Road and Eastwood Crescent, and a hotel room on Lundy's Lane near Beaverdams Road.
Detectives found a loaded handgun, as well as suspected fentanyl and cocaine.
Police say the suspected drugs have a street value around $39,000.
Investigators also discovered $748.40 believed to be proceeds from crime.
Facing charges are 23 year old Matthew Stewart of Mississauga and 31 year old Brett Michael Jeremy McLaren of Niagara Falls.
