Son and Mother Arrested After Break and Enters in Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the Lake

Thousands of dollars lost in merchandise and property damage

A mother and son from London are facing charges in connection to a series of break and enters in Niagara.

On July 5th, 'smash and grab' style break and enters took place at several businesses in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Police say businesses in Niagara Falls were targeted by the same suspects on July 14th and 15th, as well as businesses in St. Catharines on June 30th and July 10th.

In each case, the suspects entered the premises by breaking a window.

The pair were arrested on July 22nd.

Nineteen year old Dominick Matthew Waindubence and 43 year old Tonya Marie Waindubence of London face break and enter and theft charges.

A bail hearing took place the next day, and they were both denied release.

The mother and son are due back in court today.
