Officers looking for the driver of a black Chrysler 300 after a collision resulted in a ruptured gas line
Police are on the hunt for a suspect following a crash in Port Colborne.
Around 12:44 a.m. this morning, police were called to the area of Main Street West and Knoll Street.
Investigators say a black Chrysler 300 was heading northbound on Knoll Street and hit a silver Buick Regal traveling westbound on Main Street West.
As a result, one of the vehicles hit and ruptured a natural gas line.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Officers evacuated several homes in the area while Enbridge and Port Colborne Fire and Emergency Services repaired the gas line.
The Chrysler fled before police arrived, and despite help from the Canine Unit, the suspect was not located.
