Homes in Beaver Glen Drive area evacuated Wednesday, after explosives found in Niagara Falls home

An update from police concerning those explosives that were found in a Beaver Glen Drive home in Niagara Falls on Wednesday.
They've charged a 21-year old man with a number of offences:
- Make, Possess, Care, and Control of explosive device, contrary to section 81(1)(d)(i) of the Criminal Code
- Unlawful possession of Explosives, contrary to section 82(1) of the Criminal Code
Taha Sleiman is in custody, as he waits for a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.

Niagara Regional Police evacuated homes in the Beaver Glen Drive area of Niagara Falls yesterday after receiving a concern about a suspicious device.
A Niagara based social worker, during the course of their duties, alerted police about the device at a Beaver Glen home.
NRP attended the home and officers located multiple devices of a concerning nature.
Out of an abundance of caution nearby homes were evacuated and police called in their Explosive Disposal Unit.
The devices were determined to be improvised explosive devices in varying stages of completeness.
Nearby residents were allowed to return to their homes at 3:00pm.
So far no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
