Schools to be shut down due to weather
Kids in Niagara are getting the day off tomorrow.
A blizzard warning is in effect for south Niagara, and north Niagara is under a winter storm watch.
As a result, the DSBN and Niagara Catholic both decided to shut schools down tomorrow.
Conseil Scoliare Viamonde, the French-speaking public board, has also chosen to shut down schools on Friday.
Children are advised to make sure they bring home everything they may need for the holidays tonight.
Kids will return to class on January 9th.
Meanwhile, Brock University says it will be closed tomorrow for non-essential activities.
