Public meetings will be held to discuss capital, operating, and water and wastewater budgets
The City of Welland wants to hear from residents in regards to the 2023 budgets.
Public meetings have been scheduled to discuss next year's operation, capital and water and wastewater budgets.
The meetings will be held on January 24th and 26th, both at 5:00 p.m.
Anyone who wants to speak at the meetings is asked to contact City Clerk Tara Stephens at clerk@welland.ca by January 6th.
The meetings can also be watched here.
The City has also created a page on its Engage Welland website, for residents to share their ideas and learn more about the budgets.
The City says the budgets will reflect areas of concern, including affordability, health and wellness and the economy.
