Canada Revenue Agency now accepting applications for children's dental benefit.
Parents can now apply to the Canada Revenue Agency to start receiving the new children's dental benefit introduced by the federal government earlier this year.
Families who earn less than $90,000 a year and have kids under 12 years old can receive between $260 and $650 dollars per child for dental work.
Officials say the benefit will provide cost-of-living relief to low-income Canadians, but critics say it won't have much effect.
The dental benefit was a condition of an agreement the NDP made to back up the Liberals.
