School Buses in Fort Erie not Running

More winter weather coming here, in New York, the Governor has declared State of Emergency

It all depends on where you live as to whether you received much snow overnight.

There are various reports of intense snowfall last night in some areas, while other parts of Niagara wake up to next to no snow this morning.

Environment Canada has the snow squall warning still in effect, in fact it covers Lake Huron, Ontario, Erie and Georgian Bay.

The first cancellation of the morning concerns school buses.  Both the Niagara District School board and Catholic boards tell us all school buses have been taken off the road for Fort Erie, only.  It adds all schools are open, but if you choose not to send your kid to class, let the school know.  Buses are not running for Garrison Road, John Brant, Peace Bridge, Stevensville, and Greater Fort Erie Secondary School.

Meanwhile, in Buffalo, various media outlets are reporting Governor Kathy Hochul has issued a state of Emergency, as up to 6 feet could land in some areas.

Students have the day off, and travel has been banned later today in Buffalo and on parts of Interstate 90.

The NFL game on Sunday in Buffalo against the Browns has been moved to Detroit.
