Winter Weather Returning to Ontario

Freezing rain, snow and colder temperatures set to return to Niagara

If you're travelling today, keep in mind those warm temperatures most of Southern Ontario enjoyed this week are coming to an end.

Freezing rain warnings that were in effect for areas north have now ended, but road conditions remain slick.

A winter weather advisory remains up across the border.

Periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain resulting in slippery road conditions is forecast for Buffalo.

Mild temperatures are coming to a end in Niagara and freezing rain or light snow mixed with ice pellets are expected this morning.

Temperatures are going to start to drop to a high of just -4 by this afternoon, the wind chill will make it feel more like -11.

Earlier this week, both Toronto and Hamilton set new records (15 degrees and 15.2 degrees respectively) for the warmest temperatures ever recorded for February 15th.
