Original Story - posted January 25th

Police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect following three robberies.

Investigators say all three incidents occurred on January 24th.

Around 3:00 a.m., police were called to the Pioneer Gas station on Garrison Road in Fort Erie, after a lone male suspect demanded cash from a clerk.

Police say a small amount of merchandise was taken.

The suspect is described as a white, clean shaven male between 30 and 40 years old.

He was wearing a red bandana, a red and white New York Giants baseball cap, black gloves and a black and grey striped winter jacket.

About twenty minutes later, police received another robbery call at the Flying J Truckstop on Pettit Road.

The suspect demanded money from an employee, but fled when he wasn't able to get any.

He got in the passenger side of an awaiting vehicle.

The description of the suspect is the same as the Pioneer incident, however, he was now wearing a red jacket.

Around 4:50 that morning, police responded to a robbery call at the Petro Canada on Oakwood Drive in Niagara Falls.

The suspect demanded cash, but was unsuccessful in this attempt.

Police believe the same person is responsible in all three incidents.

Detectives also think the getaway vehicle was a stolen grey 2013 Dodge Journey with Ontario license plate BWLJ367.

The car had been stolen from a plaza parking lot located on Ridgeway Road near Roxborough Avenue.

Police are asking anyone who spots the car or has other information to contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara or call detectives at 905-688-4111, opt. 3, 1009369.
