Two People Charged in Relation to Theft at Niagara Falls LCBO

Two Niagara Falls men charged in connection to attempted robbery at an LCBO in Niagara Falls.

A pair of men have been arrested following an incident at an LCBO location in Niagara Falls.

Police say around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, December 11th, two men stole items from the store on Ferry Street before being approached by a security guard.

A man in his 40s returned merchandise and proceeded to leave the store, but a man in his 20's still had items concealed.

The younger man refused to return the items, and a knife was brandished when the altercation became physical.

The suspect fled before police arrived.

The guard, who wasn't injured, was able to disengage and retrieve all of the items.

Earlier today, both suspects were identified and arrested.

Facing charges are 21 year old Anthony Pembleton and 42 year old James Headworth, both of Niagara Falls.
