Thorold Community Market to Feature Local Wineries and Breweries

Licensed patio coming to Thorold Community Market

A new licensed patio is coming to the Thorold Community Market.

The City says the patio will open tomorrow, and will feature local wineries and breweries every week.

The patio has been named "The Lock", and will be located across from the bandshell on the east side of Battle of Beaverdams Park.

Patrons will also have a good view of the live music on stage every week.

"Incorporating a licensed patio at the Thorold Community Market furthers the City of Thorold’s commitment to supporting and endorsing local businesses in our Community," says Mayor Terry Ugulini. "We are fortunate to have so many incredible local wineries, breweries and growers in our beautiful Niagara region, and are thrilled to be able to showcase a selection of their remarkable offerings at our market each week."

Tomorrow, Marynissen Estates Winery and Niagara Oast House Brewers will be the first winery and brewery to be showcased.

Local wineries, breweries or vendors who want to take part can email the City’s community services division at
community.services@thorold.ca.
