Things To Do This Easter Weekend Around Niagara

Easter egg hunts are making a comeback!

Plenty to do this weekend starting with the downtown Port Colborne BIA Easter Market tomorrow morning from 8 am to noon.

Port Colborne:

On Saturday, April 16th, the annual outdoor Easter Egg Hunt will take place at the Vale Health & Wellness Centre. Families will need to bring their own baskets and register at the main entrance according to age group: one to five, six to ten and 11 to 15 years old. 

 

Niagara Falls:

After a two year hiatus, the Stamford Volunteer Firemen’s Association is bringing its annual Easter Egg Hunt back to Firemen’s Park. The egg-citement kicks off at 11 am on Good Friday for children aged 5 to 7. Children aged 8 to 10 will hunt for eggs at 11:30 and 12:30. Little ones, 4 and under, will have a separate hunt in a roped off area. Admission to the 23rd annual hunt is $3 a child or a donation of a non perishable food item for Project Share. 

 

Niagara on the Lake:

Festivities run Saturday morning from 9 to 11:30 at the Niagara on the Lake Community Centre on Anderson Lane. The Easter Egg Hunt gets underway at 10 am sharp for children up to the age of 10.


St. Catharines:

The Fitzgerald Neighbours will be hosting their annual egg hunt at the Russell Avenue Community Centre at 11 a.m.


Grimsby:

The Kinettes host an egg hunt on Friday from 10 am to 1 pm in Centennial Park Grimsby for children 10 and under. There will also be a cash bbq, raffle and visit from the Easter Bunny!


West Lincoln:

Head to the West Lincoln Community Centre on Good Friday for an egg hunt and activities. The hunt kicks off at 10 am with three age group hunting areas, 0-3 yrs, 4-7 yrs and 8-12 yrs. The kids can exchange coloured eggs for chocolate, there's also a petting zoo and photos with the Easter Bunny.


Jordan:

Village of Hope Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday from noon to 2 pm at the former Jordan School on King Street. Everyone's Welcome - Please bring a Donation of Food or Funds for the Village of Hope Niagara Foodbank. 

 

Pelham

Hop on by Centennial Park on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. for the Easter egg hunt for Pelham youth. Kids can hunt for eggs, enjoy some crafts, meet the Easter bunny and enter the annual Easter Colouring Contest. The Egg Hunt will take place in designated age group areas for 5 and under, 6 to 9 years and 10 to 12 years.
