Striking CRA Workers Threaten to Picket Liberal Convention Tomorrow

CRA workers say they'll demonstrate outside of the Liberal convention unless a deal is reached

Striking Canada Revenue Agency workers say they plan to demonstrate at the Liberal convention in Ottawa, unless a deal is reached before then.

Union president Chris Aylward says the federal government has not offered the workers a fair contract.

The workers have been on the picket lines since April 19th, when over 155,000 federal public service workers went on strike.

On Monday, the union and the Treasury Board reached a deal for about 120,000 workers, however, talks continue with the CRA over issues like wages and remote work.

Details of the government's latest offer have not been released.

The convention takes place tomorrow until Saturday.
