Free health checks coming to Pet Valu stores in St. Catharines
Pet owners in St. Catharines will soon have a chance to get a free wellness check for their dogs and cats.
Starting next Wednesday, the Niagara SPCA Mobile Wellness Unit will offer health checks at various Pet Valu stores in St. Catharines.
Pet parents will get to microchip their pet, and discuss health concerns such as nutrition and flea and tick solutions with SPCA staff and registered veterinary technicians.
Health checks will be on a first come first served, drop-in basis.
Coupons for a free dog wash at the host store will be given to each pet that comes by.
If you plan to microchip your pet, the cost will be $30.
Clinics will take place as follows:
- June 28 (10:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.) - Pet Valu at 286 Bunting Road
- July 18 (10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) Pet Valu Lakeshore Road - 119 Lakeshore Rd.
- July 20 (4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Pet Valu Pendale - 210 Glendale Ave.
- July 25 (2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Pet Valu Vansickle - 420 Vansickle Rd.
