Man accused of intentionally damaging several vehicles.
Niagara Regional Police have laid mischief charges against a man from St. Catharines.
Earlier this month, police began an investigation into parked cars being intentionally damaged.
Detectives say the windshields were reported to have been struck with an object, likely a hammer.
On March 18th, officers arrested 56 year old Gerardo Miciano.
A bail hearing was held that day, and Miciano was released from custody on a release order issued by a Justice of the Peace.
Police believe more vehicles may have been damaged, particularly in the east end of St. Catharines.
Any members of the public who has had their car damaged and hasn't reported the offence yet can call the NRP Communications Unit at 905-688-4111 or report it online here.
As well, residents and businesses in the east end of St. Catharines are urged to review doorbell video cameras, dash cameras or closed circuit security cameras for suspicious activity between February 28th, 2022, and March 17th, 2022.
Anyone with footage they believe to be of assistance is asked to contact 905-688-4111, extension #1009628.
