Police Seeking Witnesses After St. Catharines Assault

Officers searching for three potential witnesses

Police are looking for three witnesses after an assault in St. Catharines. 

On July 10th, an assault took place at a restaurant patio on St. Paul Street near James Street.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but has since been released. 

So far, the suspect hasn't been identified. 

The suspect is described as follows: 

  • Male
  • White
  • 30-40 years of age
  • Short with a slim build
  • Short blonde hair and a possible moustache
  • Wearing a long sleeve black shirt with a logo on the front
  • Wearing blue jeans
  • Wearing white Adidas sneakers

Police have released pictures of three potential witnesses who might have information that could help identify the suspect.

The witnesses are described as follows: 

Witness #1

  • Female
  • White
  • 20-30 years of age
  • Blond hair in a bun
  • 5’3" to 5’6" tall with a medium build
  • Wearing a yellow tank top
  • Wearing blue jean cut off shorts
  • Wearing dark high top Converse Chuck Taylor shoes
  • Carrying a multi-coloured backpack
  • Pushing a black three-wheeled stroller

Witness #2

  • Female
  • White
  • 20-30 years of age
  • Black / brown hair in a ponytail
  • 5’3" to 5’6" tall with a slender build
  • Wearing glasses
  • Wearing a white t-shirt
  • Wearing black shorts
  • Carrying a black purse

Witness #3

  • Male
  • White
  • 20-30 years of age
  • Black / brown short hair
  • 5’10" to 6’1" tall with a slender build
  • Wearing sunglasses
  • Wearing a burgundy baseball hat with a white logo
  • Wearing a t-shirt with the words 'I Like Older Women'
  • Wearing black shorts
  • Wearing white shoes with black socks
