Police Investigating String of Break and Enters in Niagara

Police say suspects are taking off with cash, electronics and alcohol

Niagara Regional Police are investigating are investigating a string of break and enters. 

Yesterday, police were called to homes on Northgate Crescent in Lincoln and Sophie Court in Grimsby.

Four suspects took off with electronics, cash, and alcohol. 

Earlier this week, suspects targeted homes in Pelham and Welland. 

Police say the vehicle used in all of these incidents is a newer model white Ford Expedition SUV with stolen Ontario license plate CEXF426. 

The plate was stolen from an address on Jill Drive in Niagara Falls during the overnight hours on May 15th.

Investigators claim the suspects back the SUVs into the driveways of the homes. 

One suspect gets out of the front passenger seat and knocks on the door. 

If no one answers, the suspect will return to the vehicle and two more suspects will leave the backseat and use a shoulder or a tool to open the front door.

The suspects are at the scene for less than five minutes before fleeing in the Ford.

  • Black male
  • 20-30 years old
  • Approximately 6 feet tall
  • Slender build
  • Wearing a grey baseball hat, grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, blue jean jacket over the sweatshirt, brown dress pants, white running shoes and a blue surgical mask, and black gloves.

Suspect 2

  • Male
  • 20-30 years old
  • Slender build
  • Wearing navy blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and string pulled tight, blue jeans, black shoes, and black gloves.

Suspect 3

  • Male
  • 20 to 30 years old
  • Slender build
  • Wearing grey hooded sweatshirt with hood up, white sweatpants, grey and white shoes, and white gloves.

Suspect 4

  • Driver - no description available

Anyone in the area with security cameras is asked to review their footage and call police at 1-800-222-8477 if they see anything suspicious.
