Ontario Health Officials Concerned About Spread of UK Variant

There's some encouraging news about COVID-19 in Ontario, but also a warning.

Health officials say COVID-19 cases are decreasing across the province.

Provincial Health Adviser Doctor Adalsteinn Brown says the situation appears to be getting better.

But he is very worried about the UK variant of the virus believed to be considerably more contagious.

Numbers have fallen from highs of over 3,000 earlier this month.

Yesterday's case count stand at 2,093.
