One person hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries following Niagara Falls robbery.
Police have arrested one person and are looking for a second suspect in connection to a robbery in Niagara Falls.
Investigators say just after 3:30 p.m. yesterday, two men entered Victoria & Maple Variety Store on Victoria Avenue, and tried to steal various items.
A female employee confronted the pair and was assaulted.
The pair left the store before police arrived, and were last een walking southbound on Victoria Avenue.
The woman was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have arrested one suspect, 26 year old Shawn Butler of no fixed address.
He has been charged with robbery and failure to comply with probation.
A second suspect, 33 year old Murray Nimmo of Niagara Falls, remains on the loose.
He is wanted on charges of robbery and failing to comply with probation.
Nimmo is described as white, 6'0", and 190 pounds with a medium build.
He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
