UPDATE: Flood Warning Issued for Lake Erie

UPDATE: A flood warning is now in effect for Lake Erie.

The NPCA says the water levels could rise over 5-feet during during today's wind storm, with waves over 6.5-feet.

A wind warning also remains in effect for South Niagara.

Environment Canada is predicting wind gusts up to 100 kilometres per hour during the afternoon and evening hours.

 

A flood watch has been issued for Lake Erie.

The NPCA says the water levels could go up about 5-feet during tomorrow's wind storm. The waves could reach over 6.5-feet.

We can expect flooding in low-lying areas and you should stay away from the shoreline once the storm hits.

The NPCA says this storm could be very similar to what we experienced Halloween night.
