Nominations Open for T. Roy Adams Humanitarian of the Year Award

You can now nominate someone for the T. Roy Adams Humanitarian of the Year Award.

It's handed out every year in Niagara, to a dedicated volunteer in the community.

Thomas 'Roy' Adams was the Mayor of St. Catharines for nine years and sat on Regional Council for 14 years.

He died in 2002 and the award was created in his memory a year later.

You have to live in Niagara in order to be nominated. But you can't be an elected official currently serving in office, or an employee of the Niagara Region.

Nominations close on March 31st, 2020.

You can find more information online here.
