Nominations Now Open for the Christmas Wish

The founder of the Lock Street Brewery, would like to honour Niagara's hidden heroes once again this holiday season.

Wolfgang Guembel is bringing back his Christmas Wish party this year, where he treats a handful of good samaritans to a holiday meal at the brewery.

"We've all noticed someone somewhere in time, where they're doing something so remarkable and you think that person deserves a high-five, a big hug or a bottle of wine because they're doing this cool thing for no notice or no recognition."

Nominations are now open for this year's celebration. You have until Wednesday December 4th to put someones name forward.

Guembel and Kate Carnegie from KC Media will select five or six winners. They will be contacted before Friday December 6th.

If your nomination is chosen, you'll play a big role in the surprise.

You'll have to take that individual out for a coffee or a drink on December 11th. Guembel and his crew will show up in a limo and take you to the brewery with the other winners.

"It's not until dinner is served and we're sitting around the table where we stop and share with them that you're all here tonight because someone nominated you. We let the person who made the nomination tell the story, which is most magical part of the night."

You can find more information and nominate someone for the Christmas Wish online here.
