"Ricky" and "Julian" from "Trailer Park Boys" excited for Comic Con this weekend

Niagara Falls is about to roll out the red carpet for the "Trailer Park Boys."

Friday will mark "Trailer Park Boys Day" in Niagara Falls, with several events taking place in order to raise awareness for PTSD and mental health.

We spoke to "Ricky" and "Julian", who say they're excited about taking part in "Trailer Park Boys Day."

"It sounds pretty awesome," said "Ricky." "We're pretty excited and I guess they're gonna have an official 'Trailer Park Boys Day' and we get to hang out with the mayor, who's got a special present for us. I'm not sure what it is yet, but we're excited to come find out."

Friday's festivities will include a special flag raising, and the Falls will light up in green, which is the international colour of mental health awareness.

There will also be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:00 p.m., to open the doors to Niagara Falls Comic Con, which the public is invited to attend.

This year's event features over 40 celebrities, and the boys say they think they'll have a good time there.

"We're looking forward to meeting Bret Hart", "Julian said. "We heard he's a pretty good guy. He hangs out with our buddy Terry...gonna be lots of fun."

"We've been to a few of these things, and it's a lot of fun", "Ricky chimed in. "Everybody gets dressed up and has a really really good time. Our friend Tom Arnold is gonna be there too."

In addition to celebrities, visitors will also get to check out memorabilia like the Delorean from the "Back to the Future" franchise and the Jeepers Creepers truck.

Fans of the Trailer Park Boys will also have a chance to check out a live taping of their "Park After Dark" podcast.

Niagara Falls Comic Con takes place June 9th - 11th at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre.
