The City of St. Catharines has some family fun events planned for New Years.
There will be free skating, both regular and glow in the dark, at the arena from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on December 31.
There will also be a mock countdown, party favors, craft activities, hot chocolate, candy, face painting and more.
The St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre will also have free family swimming New Years Eve from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
On New Years Day you can welcome 2020 with a toast alongside the Lincoln and Welland Regiment, Mayor Walter Sendzik and the firing of a cannon.
The Lake Street Armory will host a toast from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in a military tradition.
