More Opposition to 7-Eleven's Liquor Licence Application

City of Brampton says no

First it was the union representing LCBO workers, now the city of Brampton has come out against 7-Eleven's liquor licence application.

The convenience store chain has applied for permission to allow 61 of its stores to sell and serve alcohol.

Eight of those stores are in Niagara including Grimsby, Welland, Port Colborne, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines.

Last night , Brampton councillors passed a resolution asking the provincial government not to approve the application for two 7-Eleven's in the city.
