Municipal offices and arenas among Labour Day closures
There are a few long weekend closures and activities you should know about in Niagara.
In St. Catharines, the following places will be closed on Monday:
- City Hall
- The St. Catharines Enterprise Centre
- City arenas
- Russell Avenue Community Centre
- Port Weller Community Centre
- Dunlop Drive and West St. Catharines older adult centres
- Victoria Lawn Cemetery administration office (visitation is always available from dawn to dusk)
- Meridian Centre (including the box office)
If you're looking for something fun to do in St. Catharines this weekend, the Lakeside Park Carousel will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. all weekend.
As well, Happy Rolph's Animal Farm and the Morningstar Mill will be open all weekend.
The. St. Catharines Farmer's Market will also be open from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Meanwhile in Pelham, municipal offices and the Meridian Community Centre will be closed on Monday, and re-open on Tuesday.
If you're in Thorold, the Thorold Community Pool will be open on Monday for normal programming, and close for the season the following day.
The following places in Thorold will be closed on Monday:
- City Hall
- Lakeview Cemetery Office
- Lock 7 Viewing Centre
- Thorold Community Arenas Office
- Thorold Public Library
