It was no April Fool's joke

Plenty of people assumed posts last week on social media were an April Fool’s joke, but Niagara Falls councillor Lori Lococo sharing a post on Facebook from ‘The Niagara History and Trivia’ page along with pictures, confirming the old Iron Scow in the upper Niagara River is now in three pieces

The scow has been stuck above the Horseshoe Falls since 1918.

After years marooned in the same spot, in 2019 record high water levels moved the scow about 50 metres, flipping it on its side.
