Indigenous Rights Conference Coming to St. Catharines

The Indigenous Rights Conference is about to take over downtown St. Catharines.

It’s happening at Brock University’s Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts on Saturday November 16th.

A handful of scholars and leaders will discuss a range of issues facing Indigenous communities.

The day will also include film screenings, a special feast and a performance by the Strong Water Women drum group.

It’s a free event and it will be open to interested members of the community.

It’s all hosted by Supporters of the Haudenosaunee Right to Hunt.

The doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and everything will wrap up by 8:00 p.m.
