Heat Warning Continues in Niagara

A heat warning remains in effect for Niagara.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Gerald Cheng says a humid air mass will make it feel like 40 degrees this afternoon but there is an end in sight.

"It's coming from the Gulf of Mexico and this one is not going to last as long as some of the heat events we've seen this season. Luckily its really just another full day of it and also a night of it."

Cheng says it shouldn't feel quite as hot or humid tomorrow but we could be in for a storm.

"There is a risk of thunderstorms especially for Tuesday so keep your eye on the sky. With heat and humidity certainly thunderstorms go hand-in-hand."

If you hear thunder roar Cheng says you should go indoors.
