Health Canada Approves Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Shot For Kids Under Five

Health Canada approves three-dose series of COVID-19 vaccine for kids as young as six months old.

Health Canada has approved a second COVID-19 vaccine option for kids under five years old.

Pfizer's three-dose shot for kids aged six months to four years old has been authorized.

The agency says kids should wait at least three weeks between the first and second shots and eight weeks between the second and third.

In July, Health Canada approved Moderna's two-dose vaccine for children in the same age bracket.
