Police say accused used a knife to take truck from another man in Niagara Falls parking lot
A 25-year old man from Halifax has been charged after a truck was stolen from another man in a Niagara Falls parking lot.
Police were called to the Lundy's Lane and Kalar Road area early Sunday afternoon, to find a 49-year old man had just hopped into his pickup truck, when another man opened the driver side door, and using a knife, demanded the pickup driver get out of his truck.
Police say the driver complied, and the thief drove off.
Police found the truck, without damage, at a hotel in the Lundy's Lane and Montrose Road area, and arrested David C. Chukwuka.
He remained in custody pending a bail hearing yesterday.
There were no injures.
