UPDATED: Frontline Workers Attend Sabres Game

The Buffalo Sabres are showing their appreciation towards frontline health care workers.

Last night, the team welcomed 700 frontline workers from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Centre as part of their "Hockey Fights Cancer" night.

It was the first time this season that fans were allowed to watch a Sabres game at the KeyBank Center.

Attendees were required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

The night also marked their first game since the firing of head coach Ralph Krueger.

The Sabres lost to the Boston Bruins by a score of 4 to 1.

They were supposed to have a chance at redemption tomorrow night, however, the game was postponed after four more Boston Bruins players entered the NHL's COVID-19 protocols.

Bruins forward Sean Kulaly was on the protocols list prior to the game against the Sabres.
