Ford recalling nearly 215,000 pickup trucks and SUVs in the U.S. and Canada due to issue with brake fluid.
Ford is recalling nearly 215,000 F-150 pickup trucks and Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs in Canada and the United States.
The recall covers F-150 pickups from 2016 to 2018, and SUVs from 2016 and 2017 that have 3.5 litre turbocharged six-cylinder engines.
The U.S National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says fluid can leak from the brake master cylinder, resulting in greater effort and longer stopping distances.
Officials note the master cylinder and front brake booster will be replaced by dealers if necessary.
It's the third time Ford has issued a recall for this issue, with previous F-150 recalls in 2016 and 2020.
