Dr. Moore Says COVID-19 Situation Improving

Moore notes while some areas are experiencing a strained health care capacity, the number of hospitalizations remain stable.

Ontario's top doctor spoke to Ontarians today in the first press briefing since restrictions were loosened. 

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore told reporters that the coming weeks will continue to be challenging for hospitals, but the number of hospitalizations remains stable. 

Moore also notes that the province has increased capacity to provide hospital care.

Earlier today, the province reported 4,098 new COVID-19 infections, as well as 74 new deaths.
