Home sales 40 percent lower last month than in February 2022
The Canadian Real Estate Association says home sales in February were about 40 percent lower than the previous year.
This comes as national home sales rose just over two percent last month from January.
The association sales were comparable to waht was recorded during the same month in 2018 and 2019, before the pandemic.
The association says the average home price in Canada last month was around 662 thousand dollars.
