Brock Looks to Build More Residence Buildings for Students

Brock University is looking to partner with private developers, to create more residence buildings.

Brock currently offers about 2,400 residence beds. Construction will begin on another 300 bed residence building this fall, but the wait list is significantly long for students wanting to live on campus.

The university would like to work with third-party companies, to build student housing close to the main campus or by the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts in downtown St. Catharines.

Brock saw a total enrollment of almost 19,800 students for the fall semester and the incoming first-year class was the largest ever for the university.
