UPDATE: NRP Search for Two Suspects Following Wainfleet Esso Break In

UPDATE: The NRP has released photos of two suspects, as officers continue to investigate in Wainfleet.

An investigation is underway, after someone drove a pickup truck into a gas station in Wainfleet.

It happened at the Esso on Highway 3, close to Burnaby Road at around 5:30 a.m. on Monday November 18th

According to the NRP, the culprits stole an ATM and other merchandise before taking off.

The truck was found on fire close by, but police are still looking for two suspects.

One is described having a medium build, wearing a tan coloured work coat and dark pants at the time.

The other suspect stands at about 5'10" with an average build and was wearing long pants and a jacket with checkers on it.

Officers say they went south on Burnaby Road in a black Chevy Silverado pickup truck, with the Ontario license plate AV87018

Police believe it was stolen from a Port Colborne business hours before the break in.

Local residents and businesses in the area are being asked to check all of their closed circuit cameras for any suspicious activity.
