Water, Wastewater and Waste Management Budgets Approved for 2019

Niagara Regional Council has approved their water, wastewater and waste management budgets for 2019 and both of them include increases.

The water and wastewater budget is going up 5.1 percent. The changes will be billed to the local municipalities based on usage.

The waste management budget is going up 2.1 percent. The cost will be charged to municipalities based on how many people receive curbside pickup and to residents based on their tax rates.
