Unemployment Rate Drops Slightly in Niagara

The unemployment rate went up across Canada, but dropped slightly in Niagara.
According to Statistics Canada; Niagara's rate is now 5.7 percent, compared to the 5.8 percent that was reported in May.
Ontario wide the rate shot up to 5.4 percent from 5.2 percent.
Nationally; the rate is now 5.5 percent, up slightly from 5.4 percent.
The economy lost 2,200 jobs last month, but Canada's jobless rate is still staying close to a four decade low.
