Tourism Minister Announces $250,000 for Winter Festival of Lights

Tourism Minister Lisa MacLeod paid a visit to Niagara Falls earlier today.

She stopped by Table Rock Centre to announce an investment of $250,000 for the Winter Festival of Lights.

She was joined by several local politicians; including Mayor Jim Diodati, Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff and Niagara Falls MPP Wayne Gates.

She posted the following message on her Twitter page afterwards;

"The @NiagaraParks @WinterFestival attracts 2M visitors. The 37 y/o festival showcases Ontario as the world in one province by bringing the world to our province & helps contribute to $71B in economic activity in @ExploreON sectors. @samoosterhoff & I announced a $250K investment."
