Suicide Prevention Training Programs Proposed for Niagara

Niagara's Acting Medical Officer wants to launch two new programs, all about suicide prevention.

Dr. Mustafa Hirji would like to hire two professionals to train members of the public, social workers and health care professionals.

He will present a report about it to the Public Health Committee.

Dr. Hirji is also recommending suicide barriers for the Burgoyne Bridge. He will discuss that with the Public Works Committee.
