Snitch Clause to be Reviewed by Intergrity Comissioner

St. Catharines City Council has a new Code of Conduct, minus the controversial "Snitch Clause."

On Tuesday night, council voted -- 7 to 5 -- to have the clause reviewed by the Intergrity Comissioner. It requires staff to report co-workers to the City Clerk if they're not complying with the Code.

Councillor Joe Kushner told The Standard he finds the clause "draconian," and that some behaviour is too "subjective" to report.
