Safety Tips for Decew Falls Hikers

The number of rescue calls out to Decew Falls are down so far this year.

But Acting Fire Chief Jeff McCormick still has a few tips for those planning a hiking trip out there.

He says you should always know where you're going and stay on the marked trails.

It's also a good idea to leave your sandals at home and wear proper shoes.
