Pedestrian Struck at St. Catharines Intersection

Niagara Regional Police are investigating after an 84 year old woman was hit by an SUV over the weekend.

It happened at the intersection of Lake Street and Lakeshore Road in St. Catharines at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday

The westbound Nissan Rogue was making a left-hand turn when it struck the woman in the crosswalk.

The woman had to be airlifted to an out of town hospital and the 69 year old male driver was not injured.
