Niagara Teachers Attending Full-Day Kindergarten Course in Fonthill

Niagara's public elementary school teachers are back to school this week.

They're taking a three-day course in Fonthill, hosted by the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario.

It's all about creating powerful learning experiences for children in full-day kindergarten classrooms.

Research shows that full-day kindergarten students have better work habits, show higher levels of engagement and are more independent.
