Niagara College Grad Recieves Governor General's Academic Medal

Emily Stewardson Gregory graduated this morning from Niagara College's Child and Youth Care program with a 98.43 per cent grade point average.

The accomplishment makes Stewardson Gregory the 2019 recipient of the Governor General's Academic medal.

This medal is presented to the student graduating with the highest average.

Emily attributes her success to her strong desire to help those in need and thanks the talented faculty in the program.

She currently resides in St. Catharines and hopes to stay in the Niagara Region as she pursues her career.
