More Money for Roads in Fort Erie

May 7, 2019

More funds will be pumped into fixing up roads in Fort Erie.

A one-time top-up to the federal gas tax has opened up more money for road repairs.

The town will be getting double the original amount, which adds up to over $950,000.

On top of these funds, Fort Erie is also getting over $170,000 through the Ontario Municipal Modernization Grant.

This sets aside more than $1.1 million to go into roads in Fort Erie.

Roads that didn't initially make the list can be added, expanding the resurfacing program for 2019.
