Lakeside Beach Reopening in St. Catharines

Lakeside Beach will be reopening in St. Catharines today, just in time for the weekend.

The water levels in Lake Ontario are still high, but officials say there is enough useable beach space to safely open it to the public.

But it’s still a good idea to check the beach status conditions on the Niagara Region's website beforehand.
