Interim Control Bylaw for Wainfleet Cannabis Operations

Wainfleet officials want to stop new cannabis operations from setting up shop in the Township, at least for now.

Council has directed staff to come up with an interim control by-law to halt new developments.

Niagara This Week says it would give staff some time to look into their land use policies and develop special policies and regulations for cannabis facilities.

A town hall meeting will be taking place later this month.
